Rules

Competition regulations

Status of this page

This page summarises the approved Regulations. Where a rule has not yet been approved by the Competition Committee, it is marked as to be confirmed rather than assumed. The Official Competition Brief and the approved Regulations always prevail.

Entry

  • Entry fee arrangements: to be confirmed in the approved source documents.
  • A person may appear in only one submitted entry per cycle.
  • Teams are 2–4 women and every member must qualify for the same division.
  • Entrants submit in English or French; bilingual material is not required.
  • There is no age limit in either division.

Anonymity

Where the Official Competition Brief requires anonymity, submitted material must contain no names, portraits, signatures, emails, phone numbers, institution or practice logos, or identifying watermarks. Entries are assessed under an anonymous code issued by the platform.

Artificial intelligence

An AI-use policy is to be confirmed in the approved Regulations or Official Competition Brief. A declaration field is built into the entry process and activates once the policy is approved. Entrants remain responsible for authorship, accuracy, rights and originality in every case.

Deadlines

Registration and submission close on 20 December 2026 at 23:59:59 West Africa Time (UTC+1). Server time is authoritative; late submissions cannot be accepted.

Review and appeals

No appeal is permitted against architectural merit. The appeals procedure for eligibility or technical rejections, including any time limit and correction window, is to be confirmed in the approved Regulations.

Publication

Recognised projects are published with the entrant's publication consent under the agreed licence. The organisers do not publish a cash value and do not promise travel, employment, construction, grants or partner funding.
