Design challenge
The design challenge, site expectations, areas and technical requirements are confirmed exclusively in the Official Competition Brief. This page will summarise the approved brief as soon as it is published.
Divisions
- Student division: Female architecture students from countries represented within the Africa Union of Architects (AUA) membership structure. There is no age limit.
- Professional division: Female architects and eligible architecture professionals from countries represented within the AUA membership structure. There is no age limit.
- Enter individually or in a team of 2–4 women. Every member must qualify for the selected division, and a person may appear in only one submitted entry.
Deliverables
Submission fields, board formats, file types and size limits are confirmed in the Official Competition Brief. The entry system opens the matching upload fields once the brief is approved.
Recognition
Recognition categories and benefits are published only after formal approval by the Competition Committee. No cash value, travel, employment or funding is promised.
